Patagonia Incognita is a non-profit association founded in Geneva on the 27th of September 2006.

Its aims are to develop the study and encourage the conservation of the fauna and natural habitats in Patagonia through:

• studies controlled by scientists

• creating awareness for nature through introductory classes in nature watching, excursions and public talks

• collaborating with local NGOs and institutes active in the same domain

• publication and distribution of data (i.e. scientific publications, articles for the general public, conferences, exhibitions, internet)

• proposing measures for a better management of the habitats to the province administration and private landowners
